Hera performed “Repeat” at the MONTESONG 2024 festival, the Montenegrin national final for the representative at the Eurovision Song Contest 2025.
Her performance represented an unique artistic and creative concept and sent strong messages with her unusual stage performance.
According to Dolce Hera, her performance at Montesong 2024 was a jazzy rebel one, recognizable by its components:
“Freedom”
“Fashion”
“Experimental”
but also by intentional off-key singing in the verses thus bringing into question everything about this surreal existence of ours, both as an individual and as an artist.
The courage to play with these ideas makes her performance even more uncommon.
She received great reviews and reception from the worldwide Eurovision audience who appreciated the concept authenticity.
The performance “Repeat” consisted of 3 acts with an unusual action that tells the story about freedom.

Performance REPEAT – ACT I
A sack dress made of jute that conveys concepts

“LOVE”
“NORMAL”
“REPEAT”
The formal long jute sack dress with jute string necklace represents a play with the notion of fashion in two ways:
- Fashion as a system of values and the need to please others and fit into the generally accepted perception of these concepts with one false life on repeat.
- Fashion as freedom – every outfit is actually empty without the personality that should bring it out, and she should be like that, authentic and strong, to be able to bring it out – even if it’s only a jute sack!

Performance REPEAT – ACT II
Liberation from the concepts written on the jute sack dress worn by Hera, which the individual imposes on himself like Hera putting on a rope necklace.

Surreal figures like futuristic magicians with led facial masks and black simple robes dance around her, freeing her from the heavy string necklace, sending the message that the most glamorous is the free version of us, the authentic personality we have, that doesn’t care to fit into these concepts.

Performance REPEAT – ACT III
Understanding the impact these concepts leave if they are distorted or misused:
The final scene – after Hera has freed herself from the dress of jute sack and string as well as these concepts, which finally brought her freedom of movement and the possibility to indulge her great love – the drums,
Surreal silhouettes of ghosts from the future put sacks on their heads, each carrying a word
“EXPECTATIONS”
“SOCIETY”
“LOVE”
“NORMAL”
Thus sending the message that those who have these words in their heads lose their identity.
