Dolce Hera is the winner of the Milos Karadaglic Foundation scholarship for audio-visual project

The Miloš Karadaglić Foundation was founded in 2023 by the world-famous Montenegrin guitarist Miloš Karadaglić with the vision of providing mentoring and financial support to talented artists from Montenegro.

The Foundation with an aim of contributing to the development of cultural and artistic creativity in Montenegro and the region, awarded two scholarships for education in the field of musical creativity and one for an audio-visual project.

Dolce Hera is the winner of this year’s scholarship of the Milos Karadaglic Foundation for an audio-visual project at Synchro studio 360 in Porto Montenegro, which is a huge honor and an important incentive for her further artistic work.

The scholarship includes the use of the new SYNCHRO audio and visual studios and production teams, as well as the opportunity for the scholarship winner to perform at the Rubix 2024 Festival in Porto Montenegro this summer.

It is a great honor for Hera that the artistic potential of her musical project has been recognized in this way.

Therefore, she is especially glad that as a music author and the first professional female drummer from Montenegro, she is one of the three selected candidates, along with two extremely talented young artists from Montenegro, Kosta Popović, a cellist and first-year master’s student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in in the class of professor Louise Hopkin and Petra Radulović, soprano and first-year master’s student at the University of Music and Performing Arts in Vienna, in the class of professors Helena Malkovska and Hartmut Keil.

“This is a big day for us as a Foundation and a confirmation of the significant artistic potential that exists in Montenegro. We received a large number of very high-quality applications, and the decision of the three-member international jury was not easy. We are additionally motivated to continue our mission and to give support and a chance to as many artists from Montenegro and the region as possible, because the quality that exists is unquestionable and deserves its place on the international art scene,” said the president of the Foundation, guitarist Miloš Karadaglić for Forbes CG (Forbes Montenegro).
