The year 2023 was a very successful and significant year for Dolce Hera, which also meant her final return to the music scene after a certain period of break from it.
In the spring of 2023, Hera officially launched her D.H. project at Montenegro Fashion Week where the teaser of the official music video for the first single was presented and shown on the catwalk screens.
The first single electrodisco is entitled Common Dreams and is a featuring collaboration with Nina Zizic, a well-known Montenegrin singer who, among other things, represented Montenegro at the 2013 Eurovision Song Contest.
The music video is fully animated as an unusual and dynamic cyberpunk story.
The idea that inspired the artist is the search for authenticity in the world of animation in order to tell a story in an original and credible way, so special attention was paid to the animated models of the protagonists, costumes, and the animated model of the car mentioned in the song. For this video, the animated Cadillac Escalade model was used with the license of General Motors, while the costumes for the animated models of Hera and Nina were designed by Montenegrin fashion designer Ana Krgovic.
Song and music video Dolce Hera feat. Nina Zizic – Common Dreams was released on June 1, 2023. On that occasion, it was presented to the media at a press conference supported by the Organization for the Protection of the Rights of Music Authors of Montenegro PAM CG, where the media had the opportunity to see the video for the first time before it was released on digital platforms. At the conference, Hera and Nina spoke about their collaboration and announced the evening event of the Premiere organized at the Cultural Center 201 in Podgorica.
The Premiere of the music video consisted of a conversation in the form of a live podcast, after which the video was shown to the audience on a screen, followed by a party & DJ set by the popular Montenegrin female DJ duo Bizarr Duo, all supported by Jagermeister Montenegro.

After the premiere, which was also attended by media representatives, a media tour followed in Montenegro, where the two artists presented their new single through a significant number of media appearances.
On the other hand, during the summer, Hera had a large number of guest appearances and interviews for the Italian media to promote Common Dreams.
During summer Common Dreams entered the top 100 in the Italian Independent Web Classification, which is generated automatically due to rotation on radio stations, and within which it placed highly in 3 categories: Dance/12th place; Newcomers/14th place; Foreign music/17th place.
In 2023, the D.H. Project was supported by the Organization for the Protection of the Rights of Music Authors of Montenegro PAM CG and by the Secretariat for Culture and Sports of the Capital City, both of which co-financed it.
Then came another very significant collaboration with Montenegrin singer Vladana Vucinic, who also represented Montenegro at Eurovision, recently in 2022 in Turin.
The single Sweet & Bizarre Dolce Hera feat. Vladana, which is pop-rock/indie-dance, is in Italian and is accompanied by a completely different music video.
It represents an opportunity for additional artistic involvement in which Hera expressed herself as, for the first time, director and screenwriter of the music video. The video was filmed for the most part in the Royal Theater of Montenegro “Zetski Dom” in Cetinje with the permission of the Administration for the Protection of Cultural Properties of Montenegro.
The realization of this video included another important collaboration with Anja Radulovic, Montenegrin painter and fashion designer, (master’s degree in painting at the Albertina Academy of Fine Arts in Turin). As a fashion designer, she is recognized for the unique stamp of her fashion collections made of hand-painted materials on which she painted Montenegrin landscapes using modern painting techniques. For the “Sweet & Bizarre” video, she made six thematic costumes, appeared in the video in the role of a painter who paints a portrait according to the script, which she painted on that occasion, so it is authentic. She also did the cover of this single, which is actually an artistic painting on the theme of this video, which was then digitized.
This music video is more of a short film with a dynamic plot that is created under the impression of the song lyrics itself with a powerful artistic approach of multidisciplinary binding different arts in this homage to Pop Surrealism through the connection of painting, costume design, theater and direction.
The enormous work on the project of this video was presented at the Montenegro Fashion Week in October 2023 as part of its program. After the video was shown on the runway screens, Vladana and Hera walked the runway in costumes from the video.
The release of the single on digital platforms was followed by a media tour in Montenegro in which the two artists presented the single in numerous guest appearances.
The end of 2023 was marked by a very good media reception of this song and its promotion in Italy, where Hera was a guest in important radio and television programs.
As a conclusion of the previous year, Dolce Hera gave an interview for a special New Year’s edition of the Montenegrin daily Vijesti, on the topic “Celebrities Share Their Most Memorable New Year’s Eve Stories“.
